Discuss and Propose
We have an initial connection (phone call or email) to gather as much information as we need, including any photos or other documents you can share. Depending on the situation, we can provide a proposal outlining the scope and costs of our engineering services.
Review Onsite
Should we need more details, we’ll visit your home to do an initial $750* site visit. An MCE engineer will review your needs and give an initial evaluation. We will follow up with a brief written report discussing what was found during the visit and if appropriate, a proposal for continued work. *Additional fees may apply for locations more than 30 minutes outside of Wauwatosa.

That’s because there are multiple ways to approach a structural problem in a home, from basic building code fixes to engineered solutions. Often the methods prescribed by the building code are most costly to install, while the engineered solutions can have a lower installation cost.
